Vampires have never gotten beyond small groups. They are dependent on human populations to sustain them and with which to reproduce. So we have had vampire communities where the vampires are the aristocracy and the true human community (the vast number of citizens) form the industrial basis. As such communities are rare there has been no general terminology established for them although isolated terms have arisen.

Werewolves however have established communities albeit primitive, poor and unsophisticated but them such is to be expected with external hostilities and isolation. If you have ever seen any of the Howling films you would have seen werewolf communities in the Australian outback.
