air vessel is a closed chamber containing compressed ait at the top portion and liquid at thw bottom portion of the chamber.At the base there is a opening through which the liquid may flow into the vessel or flow out of the vessel.

FUNCTIONS:

1) Obtain continuous supply of liquid at uniform rate.

2) To run the pump at high speed.
