2. mail in your vote
3. stand outside the voting booth with an AK47 around your neck with a sign saying "vote for republican"

Well, now-a-days the counting is done on computers so it's a lot quicker. Imagine having to sit and count each and every ballot or vote. So a system on computers that counts votes is used, and it discludes any donkey votes, which are votes put in just for a bit of a laugh. Hope this helps.
