A:Most of the diseases described as cured in The Bible were skin diseases ('leprosy') or potentially psychosomatic diseases.

Mark 5:25 tells of the cure of a woman with an issue of blood, but in this case there was no evidence provided as to her condition, except that she told Jesus all the truth, and no evidence that she was cured. We simply assume these things.

No severed limbs were ever reattached or miraculously regrown. The nearest to this was the one occasion when Jesus cured a man with a withered hand, in Mark 3:5. In Luke's Gospel, Jesus also reattached the ear that had been cut off, although this is inconclusive since the two earlier gospels (Mark, Matthew) never mentioned this miracle although the authors would certainly have done so had they known of this detail.

Acts of the Apostles portrays Peter as even an more powerful agent of miraculous cures than Jesus had been. People even brought their sick in the hope that just his shadow would pass over them, thus effecting a cure. Whatever diseases were thereby cured is not actually mentioned. In Acts, the first cures effected by both Peter and Paul was of a lame beggar, and were amazingly similar. However, Peter's cure resulted in many being converted, while Paul's cure was without purpose and merely resulted in Paul and Barnabas being compared with the pagan god, Zeus and Hermes. Moreover, Barnabas was compared to Zeus, while Paul was compared to the lesser god Hermes, implicitly placing Paul below even Barnabas as well as Peter. This was probably a political statement for the time of writing.
