There are probably over 1,000 types of dogs, and i don't think anybody can name them all.
A lot of the dogs were dobermans and they out populated the other dogs such as German Shepherds, Setters, Pointers and Labradors and other dogs. All of the dogs did an excellent job. They even have a monument for the Marine dogs who died for our freedom. It is a statue of a Doberman. The names of the dogs are all listed on the monument. These dogs saved thousands of lives.
