∙ 12y agoMore and better public transport would mean that fewer people would drive around in their cars. Burning fossil fuel like gasoline in vehicles emits carbon dioxide, a powerful greenhouse gas which is causing global warming.
Twenty people riding a bus, or 100 people in a train is far better and less polluting than one or two people in a car.
