Online shopping is bad because you cannot trust the person who will/would be preoviding the goods after you have bought and paid for them. Even eBay cannot sometimes be trusted because false internet sites of eBay have been created in the past.
Some of the potential problems with online shopping include:
Did all this just scare you from shopping online? lol ... Don't let it. A little bit of common sense and good judgment goes a long way. If you're smart, you'll find hundreds of trustworthy merchants out there that provide a "perfect" shopping experience.
There are many disadvantages with online shopping.
If you don't have PayPal, or credit card, it is often harder to buy online.
Also, if you are buying shoes or clothing online, it is hard to tell if it would fit you
and sometimes when you finally receive the things you buy online, it might not be the same as you saw on the picture, or you've actually changed your mind about it afterwards, or the items may be damaged and you can't do anything about it.
But there are also advantages with online shopping, if your buying lingerie, it is less embarassing to buy online if you feel uncomfortable with buying at shops.
I guess everything has its pros and cons =D
There are many thing's about this on Google. But a few are here:
1. Virus's can be on the computer when your typing in your Credit Card information, therefore the Virus will pick that up and they person put the Virus on your computer will get it.
2. You could have trouble with recieving all the products that you ordered. If you order something and it doens't come, there is a major process to get that product. Where-as if you were in the shop, you could just get it.
3. Some people don't have access to a computer so Online Shopping isn't exactly great for them.
Hope this helps :)
Positive Impacts of online shopping
·
More people are downloading music, books and newspapers onto their iPods and computers. Fewer Cd's, books and newspapers are made which saves paper -- and trees.
·
Some shops are shutting down (e.g.
DVD hire shops, electrical and book shops) as people are buying online. This means less people travel into town centres, causing less pollution and congestion.
·
Many online purchases are delivered in the normal way by Royal Mail, so there is no increase in transport and pollution.
Negative impacts of online shopping
·
Cheaper purchasing online means even more products are being manufactured and sold -- all of which requires energy and is responsible for more carbon dioxide being emitted.
·
Some online purchases are delivered in vans and lorries meaning that there are more large vehicles on our roads.
·
More and more people are using computers to download and listen to music and films. This leads to computers being left on all day (and all night sometimes) which uses a lot of energy.
·
Firms like Google have offices containing tens of thousands of computers to help people to search for products online. This uses up enormous amounts of energy.
The bad thing about online shopping is that you don't have the visual look at the commodity before purchase,as the computerised impression with glossaries might be looked as tempted. If you want to replace the same item not upto your choice, then you have to personally visit the store with the item and bear the stress.
One thing is that if you buy something on the internet such as clothes, then you might get a different size or colour to what you were expecting.
one major thing that is bad about shopping online is that you do now know who is receiving personal information that you send out.

Traditional shopping and online shopping both have their advantages and disadvantages. Online shopping, for example, saves you time by allowing you to make your purchases from the comfort of your own home or office, or from anywhere there is internet access for that matter. When you weigh the negatives and positives about the two options however, traditional shopping is better mainly because the shopper is able to see, touch, test or try the items before purchasing. This gives immediate satisfaction to the shopper unlike online shopping which often times causes worries to shoppers about the timely and accurate delivery of purchases.

Another answer E shopping means, shopping using an electronic devise such as a computer rather than walking around in a mall or store. Online shopping means shopping on the internet which a person would also need an electron devise such as a computer to get on the internet.
