Band Adjustments: Front Band: Tighten the adjusting screw to 10 Nm, loosen exactly 3 turns and secure with locknut Rear band: Tighten the adjusting to 15 Nm, loosen exactly 1 turn and secure with locknut.

If no clunking noises are heard. chances are that your universal joints are OK. Most probable cause than is low transmission fluid. more complicated problems can be a band adjustment is needed, or shift linkage adjustments needed. can be alot of reasons.
How do you adjust rear band on transmission for a vs commodore 6hdd?f
why it is used for picture or video transmission
yes, the tri-band feature very well allows it to function.
Remove the pan to drain fluid, remove 2 filter screws, loosen rear band lock nut, tighten to 72in lbs then back off 2 turns, tighten lock nut, install new filter, install new gasket, put the pan back on, adjust the front band(same as rear) it is found on the left side of transmission toward the front, pour in 4 qts of atf+4, start truck cycle to r and d, check fluid fill as needed
