I went to Ecuador and lived (Azogues and Cuenca) there for 5 months and the buses are often called by the name of the company that provide service (Centinela, Truraz, Xavier Loyola ect) but if you translate bus to spanish in some countries call them "guagua" in Ecuador this means "child" from the Quechua language but the correct translation is "AUTO BUS"
Ecuador is closest. Ecuador is on the equator (that is why it is called Ecuador) , Guatemala isn't.
People who live in Ecuador are called Ecuadorians
Because it is on the equator and Ecuador means equator on Spanish. :)

Chiva buses are popular in Colombia and Ecuador. They are mainly used in rural areas for public transport. Most of them have a ladder that allows access to the roof which also carries people. Where windows would normally be there are doors instead.

Buses
People from Ecuador are labeled in Spanish as: "ecuatorianos" (masculine) & ecuatorianas (feminine).
The capital of Ecuador is called Quito. This is spelled the same way in English and in Spanish.
Double-decker buses have 2 levels of seating (or mixture of seating and standing).
