* Unwillingness to eat (or only eating VERY small amounts) * Excess, intense, or very often exercise * Organ problems (i.e. problems due to lack of nutrients, a girl not having her period) * Hair (on the head) loss, discoloration, loss of "shine", becoming more fragile / brittle, thinning, becoming lank. Also, hair growth (called lanugo) of a peach-fuzz thin layer as the body tries ot compensate for loss of body fat.

2. Refusal to eat, eating only low-cal "safe" foods, eating only in the presence of others.

Weight loss / protruding bones.

Not eating, or only eating very little / eating only "safe" (low-calories, low fat) foods.

Excessive exercise.

Hair loss.

Dry skin / flaky skin.

Discolored nails (usually a faint blue or purple).

Wearing baggy or different clothes to hide weight loss.

"Odd" food habits.

Obsesses over food, health, body image, ect.

Defensiveness over food, weight, food, ect.

Heart problems.

Organ weakness / failure.

Low body temperature.

Low heart rate.

Dizziness, fainting.

Weakness.

Mood swings.

Depression.
