There are a few ways to figure out when these days are 1) you can use an ovulation prediction kit, that will give you a positive result about 12-36 hrs before ovulation, which is a fertile time. 2) you can monitor your cervical mucus, when you wipe if you have mucus that is stretchy and alot like egg whites, then you are in a fertile time. the mucus is made to help sperm live and make it up to meet the egg 3) calendar method... this says your ovulation day is the halfway point in your cycle, such as if you have a regular 28 day cycle, then your ovulation day is day #14, you count the first full day of your period as day #1.. this is not that reliable however because you could ovulate late/early. 4) Basal body temperature.. this gets a bit complicated and only confirms ovulation after your fertile time. 5) cervical position.. your cervix gets higher, softer, open and wet right before ovulation to allow the sperm in. During a 28 day cycle a woman is typically fertile between days 7-16, when there is fertile cervical mucus and then during ovulation, but everyone is different. The only way to know when you are fertile would be to use fertility awareness method.
