This trick is good to those who have less time on game or don't have XBOX LIVE. All you do is choose any type of game that you are by yourself (like forge or custom games), make sure the time is unlimited, and start the game. Once started, just turn off your tv and go do other things for an hour or more. Once that's done turn your tv back on and end the game. This will give you around 4 to 5 and a half thousand. It works for me so it should do the same for you as well.
