there are 3 variations of the model 36.The first dates model 36,s were made from 1936-1937.The first variation dates from 1937-1940.the second variation dated from 1941.the third variation dates fron 1946-1947.If made in 1946 it will have a C prefix to the serial number.If made in 1947 then it will have a D prefix.The second variation will have a B prefix.
