What is the difference between the US Judicial Branch and the Canadian Judiciary Branch?

Some Differences and similarities between the US Government and the Canadian GovernmentIn this essay, I will be telling you about some similarities and some differences in the US and Canadian government. The three branches of the US government are: the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial. In the Canadian government, there are: the Sovereign, Judiciary, and Parliament. There are many facts out there on the web, but I only know this much about the similarities and differences in the US and the Canadian government. The Judiciary branch of Canada is the equivalent of the judicial branch in the US. They both have courts. In the US, the judiciary branch has the Supreme Court, Courts of Appeal, and District Courts. In Canada, they have Supreme Court, Tax Court, and Federal Court. They have similar meanings, (a little different) and different names. The Sovereign and Executive branch are the same in the Canadian and US government. The Executive and Sovereign also more related to the elections more than the other two. In Canada, they have a system called First Past the Post where each party chooses its own leader. The leader of the party holding the most seats usually becomes the Prime Minister. In the US we use the Electoral College system, where people put in votes for electors to vote for the president. In Canada, there is the Parliament, which is almost the same as the Congress. The Congress and the Parliament is basically the same thing only one is in the Canadian government, one is in the US. They also have different names that mean different things. Another difference is that the Parliament elects their leader based on their willingness to follow the party standards and in the US, we elect on the personalities.
