Depending on the type of chocolate (the worst is highly processed Milk Chocolate, the best is minimally/unprocessed dark chocolate with a high cacao percentage-think 70%+), some of the disadvantages may include a high calorie count (need to eat small portions), high amounts of sugar and milkfat (saturated fat and often trans fat if partially hydrogenated oil is on the label), and much of the mainstream milk chocolate comes from underpaid workers in foreign countries (social disadvantage).
