Besides major things to conserve energy (eco-friendly car, solar panels, ect.), there are plenty of simple things that people can do to conserve energy... *Shut lights off *Don't leave water running *Shut off the TV, radio, computer, ect. *Recycle (bottles, can, papers, glass, ect.) *Walk or ride a bike *Carpool or use public transportation *Lower the heat in the winter by a few degrees *Open a window in the summer instead of turning on the air conditioning *Wash clothes in cold water, instead of hot water (if possible) *Don't let the water run while doing the dishes any more than nesseary *Take shorter showers
