The light bulb was made in the early 1800's but Thomas Edison. People say that Mr. Edison had really not made it like in a story but is it true? We just gave the credit to Thomas because he had owned a power company, General Electric. Joseph Swan was a British inventor; Joseph's Light bulb was prior one year after Thomas Edison had made his light bulb. Swan's and Edison's were the same. Swan had shown his light bulb to the New Castle, England at 10 years before Edison had 'shocked' the world that he had mad the first light bulb. How do two inventors, from two different countries, invent the exact same thing? This part is easily, This web site, that told me, that Edison had read an article about Swan's light bulb, Swan had didn't like this. He had taken this to court, but in the end, Edison had to share this company, Edison and Swan United Electric Company. Today, Edison only, made that 50-year-old idea improved it, the idea of electric lighting wasn't new, and a number of people had tried worked on, and even developed ways of electric lighting.
