Edward Anthony Masen Cullen was born in Chicago on June 20, 1901. While dying of the Spanish influenza at age 17, he was changed into a vampire by Carlisle Cullen. Besides Bella's, Edward can read anyone's mind as a special gift. He falls in love with Bella soon after she arrives in Forks. Edward knows that he could kill Bella easily, a fact that torments him so much that in New Moon he decides to leave Forks so he and his family won't be able to hurt her. He returns, however, because he realizes he cannot live without her. Edward marries Bella in Breaking Dawn and they have a child, Renesmee.

Alice: was in a mental institution because of her glipses of the future (not as strong as it is now),her creator was killed by James because he got revenge for turning her into a vampire when he wanted her blood (more than he wanted Bella's).

Edward:was dieing of the spanish influeinza when Carlisle changed him because Edward's mom told Carlisle to do everything in his power to save her Edward.

Rosalie:was beaten and left for dead by her drunk feionce on the side walk when Carlisle came and changed her.

Emmet: was saved by Rosalie when he was getting mauled by a bear. Rosalie carried him (holding her breath) to Carlisle and asked him to change Emmet fo her.

Jasper:was in the military going back to make sure that everyone was on the ship out of the war zone when these three girls came and told him about themselves. then turned jasper in to a vampire as well.

Carlisle:his father believed in vampires and wanted to kill them all and Carlisle did a better job than he did and his father let him lead the next search. when he found a group of vampires in the sewars getting weak of thirst, they came out to protect themselves and one of them bit Carlisle and got knocked down by another one of the searchers and carlisle crawled into the forest to turn into a vampire even though he hated it at the time.

Esme:jumped off of a cliff because of her second miscarrage and was devistated so she commited suicide, then they just took her straight to the mourg and carlise chanded her when they were alone.
