1) producers- get food by photosynthesis
2) heterotrophs- gets food by eating other organism or byproducts
3) parasite- an organism that its off another species (the host)
4) host- another organism from which the parasite takes food and shelter
the two ways that protists get their food are: some uses photosynthesis to make their food, others obtain food from other organisms.
ulva yeah and who ever wrote this is lieing
They use photosynthesis to get energy so they are called autotrophs!
=)
Protists get food in many ways. Some protists can make their own food. Other protisits eat other organisms, parts or products of other organism, or the remains of other organisms.
They both eat and reproduce
They are either saprophytes or parasites.
chysophytes and discicritates
Growth depends upon ingestion, so let's start with two ways living things eat: autotrophic (self feeding) and heterotrophic (needs to find food).
Flagellates are single-celled protists. There are two main groups. The Peranema belong to the group that ingests it's food (microscopic particles). The other group (Dinoflagellates) are similar to bacteria, and include algae. They don't eat whole food, but take in food that is already partly digested, and are important photosynthesisers in lakes and oceans. The flagella (whip-like apendages) are used for locomotion.
Movement and feeding.
they eat by photosynthesis or by other organisms......
They both eat and reproduce
Photosynthetic bacteria and protists to name two organisms that have no seeds or spores and can create their own food.
they trap the suns energy and produce sugars
They both eat and reproduce
Refrigeration and Heating
Two names of protists are algae and protozoa.
What are the two ways organisms use nutrients from food?
When the ends of two pseudopods fuse, they form a food vacuole. Food is broken down inside the food vacuole in the cytoplasm.
write two ways to name one year
eubacteria
