Science Fiction and Fantasy Books tend to have a higher reading level. You may enjoy reading the Hunger Games, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, or some classics like A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur's Court, or Oliver Twist.
Some good books for fifth graders are "Charlotte's Web" by E.B. White, "The Lightning Thief" by Rick Riordan, "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio, and "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" by J.K. Rowling.
the animorphs series is great, the balefire triology, and circle of three
i REALLY like Lauren st. john....all of her series are exciting!...i would recommend girls to read these series
Tale of Despereaux
Yes, he read 90 books when he was in first grade.
In 6th grade I read a very good book called The Hunger Games.
Yes. I read it when I was in grade 3 but that was only because I read really advanced books. An average person would read it at grade 6.
Most like to read good and easy books. I'm a fifth grader, so I would obviously know. I would recommend the The Boxcar Children Series.
Most books recommend writing at about a fifth-grade reading level. Some people read better than that, and some cannot read as well, but that is the accepted average. Writing at that level will mean that most people will be able to understand you.
I'm in fifth grade and my teacher is giving us a 40-book challenge, but most of the kids are going higher, so at least 40 maybe more, It all depends on the length of the book you read, for a fifth grader at least 200 pages.
In the first month, Jamie read 9 books. In the second month, he read 12 books. In the third month, he read 15 books. In the fourth month, he read 18 books. In the fifth month, he read 21 books.
read it !! you will see something entertaining in it !! :)
No, but it's a good idea, since it helps you prepare for the next reading comprehension level, in the next grade.
When I was in second grade we were encouraged to read Caldecott books and Junie B. Jones books. Try Dr. Seuss books Curious George books. Hope this helped!
My friend is in third grade and she reads the warriors series but im trying the seekers and i think it is going to be a wonderful series!
If you can read this you went to school longer than he did. Only went till fifth grade and he couldn't read.
