There are no prerequisite subjects or degrees for law school admission. However, excellent grades and a high LSAT score are essential.

Take the undergraduate courses that you think will be the most interesting.

Some say Philosophy, English Writing and Grammar, and Political Science might be marginally helpful.

Individuals pursuing a law degree come from a variety of educational backgrounds and disciplines. The best undergraduate coursework is one that you have a passion for and will enhance your specialty in law. In other words, if you plan on practicing corporate law, then a business degree might be an appropriate major. If you plan on practicing criminal law, then a degree in criminal justice might be a good option. You should acquire a vision, a clearly articulated picture of the future you intend to create for yourself. Once again it should be based on a passion you have for a field of study. What exactly do you want to do (be very specific)? You should have a written plan embedded with short-term goals and objectives leading to your overall career goal. It's called building a road-map so you stay on course, and know you are moving in the right direction.
