Very few. Banning guns mainly affects people that do not break laws, and makes it more difficult to defend against people that DO break the law.
I'm not sure he passed any laws regarding banning of any guns. In his time, (assuming you mean GW the first U.S. president) guns were considered a normal part of society, and for the most part, there weren't people asking for guns to be banned.
This question calls for an opinion and cannot be answered as facts that are unbiased.
Its too Dangerous
There are no rational ones. Banning handguns only causes gun crime to go up, because the citizens cannot defend themselves against gun wielding criminals (who get THEIR guns illegally, and will ALWAYS have guns)
hand guns provide an excellent means of self defense to home robbers etc. also a lot of fun on the firing range when target shooting Banning handguns does nothing except raise gun crime from criminals (who get their guns illegally)
cheese cheese
I don't believe there is a handgun ban in Detroit (although, someone please correct me if I'm wrong). D.C. and Chicago are the only two cities that had an outright ban.
They should be banned for two very good reasons, 1, to leave the public unable to defend themselves against gun wielding criminals (who get their guns illegally),and 2, they should also be banned to make gun crimes go up dramatically. Just like Austrailia, the UK, Mexico and Japan has done, they have banned the LEGAL sale of guns to their publics, and the gun crime as a result of that has gone up 40% in the last 2 years. Banning handguns is a very good idea for destroying your country!
Good info on it here. http://www.trumanlibrary.org/banning.htm An angry letter from a Mr. Banning to President Truman, expressing Mr. Banning's toward Truman's decision to enter the Korean War.
Good books in, bad books banned
Wiki is a good choice. Go to Wiki and search for "types of handguns." On a brief cursory review, it looks pretty accurate.
they are all good if they do the job against the bad guy,i like the bigger calibers like .40 and .45
