In terms of speed, Whippets, Pharaoh Hounds, Afghan Hounds, Border Collies, Collies, German Shepherds, Salukis, Airedale Terriers, Belgian Malinois, are among some of the fastest dog breeds, in no particular order. But, in terms of trainability, I would not suggest the Afghan Hound, as it is considered to be the least intellectual of all Dog Breeds.
