There are many, but some of them would include:

Mexico City - Economic, political and cultural capital of Mexico. Also the largest city in the country with 21.16 million inhabitants as of 2010.

Guadalajara - Second largest city in Mexico (4.1 million) and capital of the state of Jalisco, which is also home to many of the traditions associated with that country, such as mariachis and tequila.

Monterrey - Third largest city in Mexico (3.7 million) and capital of the northern state of Nuevo Leon is at the center of one of the most developed regions in the country. The city itself had a per capita income of US$21,788 during 2006, on par to that of Poland or South Korea.

There are several of them; Mexico City is by far the largest of them and acts as the economic, political and cultural capital of the country; Guadalajara, close to the Pacific Coast, is the second largest city and is known as the "Mexican Silicon Valley". Also the northern city of Monterreyqualifies as such, by virtue of being the third-largest in the country and home to most of the Mexican-born industries, such as Cemex (cement), Alfa (chemicals) or Sigma Alimentos (food processing).

Other cities that are part of industrial corridors between these cities along the country include Toluca, Puebla, Saltillo, Queretaro, Guanajuato, Tijuana or Veracruz.
