Ok... you're obviously a newbie at computers. So, first of all you have the Motherboard. This is what runs the whole computer, it is basically the computers brain. It allows you to click, to move the mouse, to type, it is the Computer. Then you have the internal Hard Drive(s). These/this is where all of the memory of a computer is stored. Such as games and/or any other programs in the computer. It allows it to remember that the programs and games are there. You also have the Processor. This is what keeps the Motherboard up. It processes the information that the Motherboard sends to it. If there is too much information the computer will freeze up, making you shut down the PC. There's also fans. These cool down all of the parts to make sure that it doesn't overheat, if it overheats, it could make the computer crash and cause a permenant loss of data. The other thing is the RAM (Random Access Memory). This provides space for your computer to read and write data to be accessed by the CPU (central processing unit). The more RAM you have the less amount of times it has to read the information from the Hard Drive, speeding up your computer. These are basically what is in the modern day computers. Glad to be of service!!
