Industrial disputes are usually between the workforce and the owner/management of a business. The dispute could be about working conditions, wages and hours worked, and so on. Such a dispute could result in the Union and workforce going on strike. Subjected to high level negotiations, or both parties going into arbitration, most disputes eventually end and the workforce goes back to work.
