Hunting and Mating
Like all animals, the cheetah's instincts lead him/her to find food, find a mate, procreate and survive. The females protect and raise their young. Males of the cat family often try to kill any offspring that they have not fathered- I do not know about cheetaks.,
Cheetahs are predators-- they survive by hunting game and killing it to eat it.
Cheetahs are somewhat like domestic cats...they have a lot of instincts! They know how to take care of their young, even if it's their first time being a mother! They know how to stay alert, because there are different things that can harm them out in the wild!
the inctincts that help a cheetah is how they eat because they begin life with how to eat
To hunt and kill.

Cheetahs have very wild instincts, therefore rendering them unsuitable for domestic life
The 'lower' animals do not have feelings of love the way people do. Animals have instincts and, to a certain extent, learned behaviour. Cheetahs will care for their young as an instinct not through love.
Cheetahs are wild animals that have specific needs and instincts which makes challenging to keep as a pet but with the right needs meet them you can keep them as pets
