International lakes are lakes that straddle a border between two countries. Lake Superior is an example in North America because it straddles the border between Canada and the USA.

Waterton Lakes National Park is in the southwestern-most corner of Alberta and Glacier is in northwestern Montana. The two parks share the international boundary.
