What does a seismograph use to record the drums vibrations
Earthquakes.
All earthquakes are caused by is slippage of tectonic plates underneath the earths crust. The closer a location is to the meeting of two tectonic plates, the greater chance of an earthquake. The west coast of the U.S. is right along the edge of a tectonic plate, resulting in more earthquakes. While the east coast of the U.S. isn't anywhere close to an edge of tectonic plate, resulting in less earthquakes
they travel along vibrations that happen every nano-second in the air.
Earthquakes typically occur along transform boundaries releasing different amounts of energy, depending on the severity of the earthquake. Earthquakes are caused because one plate grinds past another plate, producing vibrations caused by the release of energy.
Seasons are caused by the positon of the earth along its orbit around the sun AND the tilt of the earth. Summer is caused when the sunlight is more direct in a hemisphere (northern or southern) and causes warmer temperatures. Winter is just the opposite: when sunlight is less direct.
usually earthquakes because of the friction caused by the tectonic plates rubbing against each other. rs.com NOT ARIES......BOUNDARIES!!!!
opposing magnets i guess?
when the drum is hit vibrations travel along the surface of the object the drum is on.
The wave that can travel through earth and along earths surface is a SEISMIC wave.
