File system stability, security policies and support for big hard drive volumes.
I would add Recoverability
Journaling also is one plus point
Because NTFS is a bad system and macs are just simply too good for this NTFS system.
ntfs is probably the best
Fill form of NTFS>New technology File System
NTFS is the file system that windows XP uses; I know that much. NTFS can handle bigger files than FAT32. FAT32 can handle 2GB files maximum. (So I'm told)
NTFS provides greater security and supports more storage capacity than the FAT32
because NTFS file system has more benefits than other.. for example you can do some security permissions just on NTFS volumes and files system..
NFTS stands for the New Technology File System. Windows 7 still uses the NTFS as a file system.
While the NT File System (NTFS) is better than the FAT16 system, it does have some disadvantages. NTFS has a high space overhead that cannot be used to store data.
NTFS
System files are files necessary to boot an operating system. They do not necessarily exist on any given NTFS volume, and the choice of file system does not affect which system files are present.
