What Muslims are not allowed to do in Mecca (or Makkah) is the same as not allowed to do anywhere else. refer to question below in Islam teachings in this regard.
Yes, Shi'ite (Shia) are allowed to go to Mecca.
Christians are not allowed in Mecca, so there are no churches in Mecca.
Any non-muslim is not allowed to enter the Holy places like Mecca and Medina. I have to check, if the Pilot is a US Muslim and have asked officially permission...may be he could be allowed to fly over Mecca. The principle is simple... NO Non-Muslim is allowed to enter/cross/pass over Mecca and Medina
Muslims are not allowed to pray in whether it is a chapel or church. Muslims pray facing Qibla which is in Mecca.
Islamic people (Muslims) travel to Mecca on pilgrimages
Mecca in KSA.
No, currently, only Muslims are allowed in Mecca. There have been nonMuslims who have sneaked in and gotten away with it. There is no set punishment for non-Muslims entering Mecca; they are detained, and a judge determines the sentence.
