Cubans don't use tequila. We eat lots of pork and yucca which is like a potato. We also eat lots of plantains, white rice, black and red beans, and chicken. Beef is not as common and nothing is spicy. The seasonings used are usually mojo (olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic) onions, olives, bay leaves, cumin, and pimientos.
