Best Answer

To introduce someone you know to someone else you know, you want to make sure that you give a little bit of information to each person about the other. For example: "Oh Mr. Smith, I'm glad you're here. I would like you to meet Ms. Jones. She's an investment banker with Bank of America. Ms. Jones, this is Mr. Smith, he is an excecutive chef in Paris!" Or, to introduce yourself to someone you do not yet know "Hello, I'm (your name), it's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Jones" Or, "How do you do? My name is (your name)."
