Answer The problem with the Church today is that many people are competing with each other to become God. Some people are competing for the position of God's chosen apostle. Some people are aggressively competing for administrative authority within the congregation. Some are competing for financial rewards and influential benefits for themselves, their friends and family members.

As physical churches, no. But symbolically, yes. Each one of the churches had virtues present, but also sin rampant. All churches today deal with the problems of all seven churches mentioned, some do better than others in certain areas. As saints of God, it is our duty to try to be like Christ in every way, and to support each other along that path. If done properly by all members within a church, the church will have eliminated most, if not all, of the sin within.
The Church Within was created in 1994.
One large problem Paul dealt with in the early church was false teachers and false teaching. Today's true church, the one that follows the Bible's teachings has the same problem. There are many false teachers/teachings today and possibly even more than in the early church. Most people do not realize they are being taught false doctrine because they do not know the Bible themselves. The Bible was given to man to read, and study to know God's will. There are other problems we could mention but false doctrine will send people to hell. I expect to get rebuttal's on this for sure.

A:What is broadly known as 'Vatigate" is reported to involve a range of crimes within the Catholic Church, including money laundering and corrupt use of Church funds by high officials. Money laundering would be meant to increase revenue for the Church, while corruption generally appropriates funds for individual benefit. No one really knows the extent of these problems within the Catholic Church, because the focus has so far been on finding and prosecuting the 'whistleblowers' who brought the problems out into the open. Anecdotal evidence is that corruption within the Vatican has cost the Church at least in the tens of millions of dollars in recent times. The real truth will only be known when the Church is willing to investigate and publicise embarrassing facts within its very core.
A vocation does not have to be within the Church, anyone can have one. You can have a vocation to be a mom, dad, etc. Or you can be things within the Church.
