A Protato is a plant that is not to be mistaken as a potato. The protato plant is one of the only plants to produce a fruit (the protato) with a non-newtonian fluid centre. This is basically corn starch and water. When broken open for the fruit has a very hard shell like coating, the fluid inside becomes solid, skilled cooks crab this solid fluid and can move it around before they put it in their dish and it liquefies. The protato plant is rare and can be found in lush tropical forest regions.
