People fear communism because they want to keep their private belongings and profit wealth. They also want to keep their natural rights such as elections and individualism/diversity.
Others fear capitalism because they might starve or not have enough property or money to have a happy life while other richer citizens get to do so easily.
Other countries around the world either picked up capitalism or communism. The cold war spread because Russia wanted more control in more satellite states and countries, and the US had to keep an eye on them as well as keep them in check.
That is a good question. Considerable individual choice is one characteristic that both share. In a democratic society the citizen is encouraged to participate (or at least he should be encouraged) and Capitalism is free-ranging and multi-optional with opportunities you can create for yourself.Democracy and Capitalism are not either/or. But they are not the same thing either. Opportunities in democracy and opportunities in Capitalism should be encouraged in both if both are to succeed.
Either for or against communism.
Because the two superpowers had opposing ideologies - the Soviet Union believed in Communism and the worldwide conversion to this belief, the US believe in democracy/capitalism and the freedom of nations and their peoples. As communism spread the US believed it was their fundamental responsibility to prevent this. It spread to a global conflict as other nations chose to support either the US or Soviet Union.
Let it run it's course. All politically communist states have either disbanded or in the process of doing so to a greater or lesser degree. Eventually capitalism becomes more attractive as was witnessed by the statement by China in the Eighties. That is not to say that the state does not continue to be ruled by despotism.
this is the short answer, but because of rising tensions due to cold war escalation, new countries either had to pick capitalism or communism (allegiance to NATO (US)or the Warsaw Pact (USSR))
Brazil.
are you in Dr. Ladds class??? there is nothing on the net about benign capitalism but this. is it just a term she made up?? I'm in Dr. Ladds class. I didn't really find anything on benign capitalism either. You might have better luck searching liberal capitalism, or just Alexander Hamilton and capitalism. I got some hits that way.
It either means that you are happy or you are up to something.
either communism or Dictatorship
There can be no such thing. Anarchists donβt just oppose the state, they oppose all hierarchies and authority. Capitalism is based on inequality and authority, with a tiny class of capitalists ruling over the rest of the population.
this is not a phobia. it is caused by either child trauma or your just a bit paranoid or if your scared of walking then you have ambulophobia!
