The risks are the same as for everyone. 40 mg of Strattera is not a large dose; for people who weigh more than 70 kg (about 150 pounds), it is the usual starting dose (and we usually increase the dosage from there). In teens, though, the medication does have a new warning about increase feelings of suicide, especially when starting it or changing the dose; your physician hopefully warned you about this and mentioned how to get help if you do start feeling this way. I have prescribed lots of Strattera to teens and find that most people do not have side effects. A few have mentioned some nausea, which is usually resolved by having them take the medicine with food in the morning. Taking it at night has seemed to lead to some sleep disturbance in some as well. The biggest problem some people have with Strattera is it not relieving their ADHD symtpoms; if this is the case, the medicine either should be increased up to the maximum dose or switched to another medication--or the diagnosis should be re-examined. Talk to your physician if you have any concerns about Strattera or any other medications you may be on. Hope this helps! Dr. B.
I had the nausea for awhile,I was told to try taking 20 mgs morning & 20 mgs at night, This stopped the nausea for me! Hope this helps The nausea caused by Strattera can be eased by taking it with food AND milk (even though the leaflet says it is not necessary). Wait about 10 minutes after eating before taking the medication. In my case, the nausea passed by the third week.
Today on new years
i took 40 mgs of furosemide will it flush my system
You decrease your dosage very slowly, over an extended period of time (at least a few weeks, but more like a few months). The slower you do it, the easier it will be. For example, if you are on 16 mgs a day (two 8 mgs pills), take 14 mgs on Sunday, 16 on Monday, 16 on Tuesday, 16 on Wednesday, 14 on Thursday, 16 on Friday, 16 on Saturday, 16 on Sunday, 14 on Monday... In other words, take your regular dose, 16 mgs, three days in a row, and on the fourth day take 14 mgs. Then, after a few weeks, start taking 14 on Sunday, 16 on Monday, 16 on Tuesday, 14 on Wednesday (16 mgs for two days, then 14 mgs on the third day). After a few weeks of that, start taking 14 mgs every other day: 14 on Sunday, 16 on Monday, 14 on Tuesday, etc., etc. After a few weeks of that, you can start going down from 14 mgs to 12 mgs, and so on and so on.

MgS IS a compound!!!! I think you mean , what elemental atoms are in 'MgS'. They are magnesium (Mg) and sulphur (S). MgS is the compound magnesium sulphide.
PCl5, MgS and Agl are binary compounds.
