Marshmellows, bananna's, yogurt, smoothies, and shakes are all AWESOME on your braces, they take away the pain.
Dairy products have protein ( milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, and cheese). Also eggs are easy to eat and high in protein peanut butter too
Try to avoid really sticky, chewy foods that will get stuck in your braces and more softer foods like soup, mashes potatoes, noodles, pudding, icecream, VERY soft fish (for extra protine), rice, etc. You REALLY want to stick to this list when you first get your braces on and it starts to hurt. But if you end up having icecream and pudding all day try to get that protine from freshly cooked fish or something if you can. Thanks for reading- say this answer helped you out if it did. Good luck!
It takes a little bit for your teeth to adjust to braces (and when they get tightened). Usually for a few days soft foods are your best friend, unless you want to feel it every time you bite into something.
soft foods. like crakers and soup
Some soft snack foods are pudding, Jello, banana, ice cream, parfait, mousse, and souffle.
You should eat soft foods like bread, rice, pasta etc. What you shouldn't eat is hard food like fried foods, gum, hard candy, apples, corn on a cob, nuts etc.
Eat anything soft like pasta on the first day. Cut up your meat into small pieces to avoid pain. Overcooking some foods help, too! Over the ongoing days, just continue your "soft" diet. Avoid sugary stuff like ice cream and soda. And Gum. I know, it sucks. Avoid anything hard like chips. Avoid Popcorn. Soft Foods are the easiest way to go! Good Luck!
You must not eat carmel foods or anythign crunchy or sticky that could get caught in your braces
Pot Noddle xXx
If you are a popcorn lover, there are these popcorn chip thingies called kactus korn (i think they have a k but am not sure) -- they taste really good, and can be purchased at any hudson's bay company! hope it helped!
The various types of good fatty foods include oatmeal, rice or noodles, bran flakes, soft tortillas, and much more.
You can have anything that fits into the general rules of braces. Don't eat anything with a taffy like consistency that will pull at your brackets and wires. Avoid foods with nuts, such as cashew chicken. Beyond that, you should be free to eat most Chinese foods.
