Probably, at least partially.
As a depressed teen, I will tell you that there is no cure. You can take a happy pill, but I do not because I do not believe in medicine. If the teen REALLY WANTS help, give them help -- happy pills, therapy, counsuling, or just someone to talk to. But if the teen does not want help, try just leaving them alone for a while. If they do not become happy on their own within months or years of leaving them alone, i suggest you talk with them about the effects of suicide. The only real thing that can keep a teen from not commiting suicide, is friends. Family is just annoying to them, but true friends......they help everything.
Some teen mothers may have thoughts of suicide due to stress, feeling overwhelmed, or depression. It's important for them to seek support from friends, family, or a mental health professional to address these feelings and get help. There are resources available to provide assistance and support.
