Lightning ripped open the sky with a fierce crash of thunder, the strong wind pushed through the old twisted trees and the huge scaly branches stood firmly in front of the insubstantial moon, guarding it like royalty. An eerie howl tore through the thick fog as a lupine silhouette emerged into the foreground. Lola heard a twig snap, she turned and cleaned the lenses of her glasses, she stood and observed for a moment as the large figure became more visible. The dark gloomy shape got closer, "hello, who's there," she asked once more, "hello, is anybody there." She got no reply, she was scared, her heart beat began to rise as the glowing eyes got closer, she slowly edged back, her paces began to get bigger and faster, she turned and sprinted, her heart was now pounding, the adrenaline was pumping through her body, she daren't not look back, she could hear it's powerful strides getting closer and closer, she could almost feel it's cold bitter breath on the back of her neck, but all of a sudden there was silence, Lola paused, she looked left, then right, then left again, was this a good thing, or was this even worse than before,
