some private servers have character copy but other than that sorry no.
Private servers are operated by a company or a group of people who are not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment. These servers do not have Blizzard support, and all technical aspects are handled by the admins' technicians. Some private servers have a small charge, while others are free to play in. Private servers are generally less stable and prone to being abandoned when compared to the official servers, but some stable ones have existed for years with minor incidents.
It is estimated that there are over 15 million different accounts for World of Warcraft players, some people have two accounts, but some families share the same account. At least 10 million people play on the > 200 servers that Blizzard has running.
A World of Warcraft server not run by Blizzard is a private server. They are essentially the same as the real thing as far as the player is concerned, except that since they are not developed by Blizzard, they tend to be less stable than Blizzard servers, lack some quests, features, and/or items, and run several release patches behind the real game (often requiring two copies of the game to be installed if you want to play both). On the plus side, they tend to have far fewer players on at once and a far lower ping time.
First of all, joining private World Of Warcraft servers is against the Terms Of Service and the End User License Agreement, considering that you have to change some files in the wow directory on your computer to point them towards the server you're thinking about to join. When you start WOW, you're automatically connected to an official blizzard server in the locale set in the version you have of the game. So, by trying to join a private server you could possibly get into trouble.Second, hosting a private wow server is a really big nono, and you might get prosecuted, considering that Wow and it's codes are the property of Blizzard Entertainment. There are releases out there to host such servers and I'm sure that blizz knows of them too :)
Sydney MapleStory is a good private server.
Some might.
To get past the realm select page, select a realm from the list provided. If there are no servers online, it usually means there is some kind of maintenance going on.

World of Warcraft is the MMORPG version of a long-running PC video game series originally named simply "Warcraft". Warcraft may have some online components to it, but is largely a game designed to be purchased at the video games store for a one time fee and then played offline, whereas World of Warcraft has NO offline component and cannot be played without an active subscription with Blizzard Entertainment unless you go to a Private Server which Blizzard doesn't condone.
