No deer hunting is not bad, just think if there weren't deer hunters to manage the deer populations then the people that whine about killing deer will be crying about them hitting deer in their cars and plus deer hunting keeps a disease free environment, and even though there are deer hunters we still have too many deer so everyone should do their part in helping nature by getting rid of some deer.
That's a personal question that everyone will answer differently. Killing a deer or anything just to kill it would be considered wrong by most people. Killing for meat is a valid reason. Killing for a trophy is a lot harder to defend. There is no shortage of deer, in many places they are over populated and destroy crops. This is a justification, it doesn't change the right or wrong of it.
No. Deer can easily get overpopulated if their population is not controlled either by natural predators or by hunting. A good clean shot is better than one that is intent to hurt the deer rather than kill it.
It is actually more cruel to not hunt deer because if they get overpopulated more disease will develop and there will be a lot of plants being over-eaten or "over-grazed" to the point that there may be less plant life to support these deer. With less plant life available, that means deer will start to compete with farmers and gardeners for food, which means less food for humans. Deer may also die a slow, agonizing death if they eat crops that are sprayed with pesticides. Deer will also die a slow agonizing death of starvation if there is nothing for them to eat. Also, more deer will run into cars and people get hurt or killed.
The prime example of this very thing occurring was in Australia when the kangaroo population was very over-populated to the point that animals became very diseased and there was very little plant life available to support all these animals. Not surprisingly animal rights activists like PETA were strongly opposed to the government's plans to allow hunters to come in and hunt and kill these kangaroos at will because they believed it was "cruel and inhumane." It's quite unfortunate that they didn't realize that something far more inhumane than hunting was rising its ugly head, called "starvation" and "disease," both of which involves a very slow, agonizing death.
Hunting is a matter of opinoin. Some say yes some say no.
it is not if it is done right when people start killing 10 deer when they a should kill one it hurts the deer heard but just killing deer don't hurt the enviorment
Responsibly managed legal deer hunting does not do "bad things". Bad things can happen as a result of poaching, but that's a separate issue.
yes hunting is a bad thing

There is no point. Hunting is wrong. Animals are people with fur they think and breath just like us. Some people find that hunting gives us things that we need.but we have grocery stores. If you are a hunter your point would be for food and valuables. But you shouldn't hunt deer for the valuables or for the stupid blood sport it is. Hunting has no point it is so cruel that i am having a hard time writing to all you today.
Deer taken by gun rifle/slug and by bow.
