As with any excercise, you're burning calories and hopefully getting your heart rate up. An advantage with a treadmill is that you can do it no matter the weather and if you get bored, it's easy to watch tv or even read a book.
Using a sole treadmill has many health benefits. First, the individual using one of these treadmills is getting a great cardiovascular workout. Sole Treadmills are usually only for running or walking. Therefore, a sole running treadmill is simply for running. Sole treadmills will have the same health benefits as normal treadmills. Sole walking treadmills are going to be the best option because they do not harm the joints as a sole running treadmill would.
By owning a treadmill an individual can exercise in their own home with the benefits of not being constrained by operating hours (such as at a local gym) and by not having to pay a gym membership to access the machine. Additionally some people prefer the privacy of their own home when using an exercise machine.
The drawbacks is the possibility that it has some problems. The benefits are that it costs less.
Weslo Cadence treadmills are a high quality piece of equipment. This type of treadmill offers varying speeds, as well as slopes. They also measure distance travelled and an estimate of calories burned.
The benefits are that it saves space. There are many stores that one can get a folding treadmill at. Some stores that sell that are Walmart and Target, They both have a wide selection to choose from.
You might lose some inches on your hips using a treadmill but basically hips measurements are mostly about bones.
You can find instructions for treadmill workouts online or you can read the instructions that were provided when you bought the treadmill. If you use a treadmill at a fitness center you can talk to a trainer or another person who is working out with you for advice.
it can be helpful when wanting to go down in weight and loose calories maybe? or it can be dangerous when you fall and smash your head (like i did..) but otherwise treadmills are exactly what they seem to be, machines for people who are too lazy to go outside and run, but prefer to run inside :)
I can not see why you would have to wear shoes on your own treadmill. If you are using a treadmill that you do not own, you must obey whatever rules the owner makes. (The owner might require shoes for safety reasons or for some reason related to keeping the treadmill clean.)
You get the benefits for your self! you own it

You get what you pay for, so you need to consider that you can afford the treadmill, you will use it, it will give you the most benefits and that it will be long-lasting. Treadmills with the most health benefits and features are mid to high priced. Consider a treadmill with a variety of exercises so that you don't get bored too easily, rather than setting it aside because you are. Consider its size; have enough space to use it in comfort.
