enlisted and officer.. enlisted is for highschool grads and officer is for select college grads.. they are two differant worlds. As far as what actual jobs... you could be infantry, mechanic, driver, intel, police, radio operators and other a bunch of other jobs... even desk jobs

This is not true. The Marine Corps is not moving toward an all infantry force. You can have any job you think of with the exection of anything medical, dental, or religious as these jobs are provided by the Navy. I am a Staff Sergeant with 13 years active duty so far.
There are alot of jobs in the marines. A few are: Military Police (MP), Marine Force Recon, Infanty, Sniper, rifleman, drill instructor (DI). That's just a few of many. Of course different ranks enable you to be different things and do different jobs.

In short, the candy is not specific. There are no rules or regulations governing the distribution of candy from Marines to the locals. These are typically individual Marines trying to show the locals that they are friendly. The candy used is usually whatever they have available. Marines get this candy from various places. Some MREs have a snack food in them (M&Ms, Combos, hard candy, pretzel sticks, chewing gum, etc) and Marines will hand these out to the locals. Some families will send care packages the their Marines that contain candy or mints.
