There are different types of governments in Europe. Some are monarchies, constitutional monarchies, and republics.
There are certainly some traditional places in Europe, but, by and large, Europe (especially Western and Northern Europe) are quite modern.
Governments were either free governments or communist government, with some exceptions of dictator governments such as Franco's Spain or Tito in Europe.

There is no short answer to this question. Main linguistic regions are: scandinavian, germanic, romanic, slavic. Main religious regions are: catholic, protestant, orthodox, muslim. Main alphabetic regions are: latin, cyrillic, greek. Main climatic regions are: arctic, boreal, continental, alpine, atlantic, mediterrenean. Some of these regions overlap. Some of the borders delimiting these regions cut right trough some countries. Belgium: germanic-romanic, Germany: protestant-catholic, France: atlantic-continental-mediterrenean, etc... Depending on the criterion you use, you get different cultural regions of Europe. There are no clear regions.
Some of the extreme northern parts of Europe are inside the Arctic Circle, which is where the North Pole is, but the majority of Europe is not in a polar region.

Well apart from the obvious answer, that Romans were from Italy and Celts were from northern Europe, like the British Isles and Ireland, the way they organised is totally different too. Celts were tribal but Romans followed a system of government not unlike some governments today.
Europe dose not enjoy a mild climate. Some countries in the south are mild, but Northern Europe can be very cold.
Salt and gold are some examples.
All in the coastline of northern USA, and in iceland, also in some parts of europe.
Northern England is NOT a continent by itself. It is part of Europe, which some scientist argue is part of a giant super continent called, EURASIA. But for now, they're two separate ones Europe, and Asia.
