Some comparisons of organic and GMO foods are:
organic food is worse than gm foods because it costs more and it comes in different shapes and sizes. organic food is worse than gm foods because it costs more and it comes in different shapes and sizes.
Organic and GM food is not exactly opposite, but foods that are grown and sold as "100% organic" cannot intentionally contain GMOs. It is possible, though, that cross pollination of GMOs with organic crops of the same kind could happen unintentionally.
GM food can be found at some of your local markets and at any time of the year but before you buy it i would like to let you know that GM foods can cause allergic reactions and can be poisinous.
Because there are currently no laws in the United States requiring the labeling of GM (Genetically Modified) foods, one can assume most non-organic foods are, in fact, GM. Approximately 80% of wheat, soy, and corn grown in the United States is grown using GM seed. To avoid GM products, make sure to purchase only those items labeled as "Organic" or "Certified GMO Free" by the Non GMO Project, a third party certifier.
Some refer to GMO foods as "frankenfoods."
Some of the GM, or genetically modified, foods include crops, meats, and dairy. Cows are normally fed a GM diet to enhance the meat or dairy and many of the time the fertilzer in crops such as corn and tomatoes are genetically modified as well.
there are many different reasons that some countries have outlawed GM foods, for example. * unknown health risks. * threat to the environment and biodiversity. * risk of allergy * ethical views

Genetically modified food can also be achieved by altering their DNA (or genes) by genetic engineering techniques. This usually involves inserting a gene into the organisms' DNA to create a certain trait. For example, some corn crops have been genetically modified so that they become more resistant to herbicides and insect pests. In most countries Genetically Modified foods (GM) as well as foods containing GM source foods have to be labelled by law, giving consumers the choice to use them or not. Agriculturally speaking the opposite of GM foods are "Organic" crops.

Sadly, almost all the food out there is genetically modified(gm). You can find more natural foods by purchasing organic or all natural products, but they are not guaranteed to be gm free.
Because the company which controls most GM foods will not allow independent testing of their products.
