Some areas of land are not part of any major biome. These areas include mountains ranges and land that is covered with thick sheets of ice.
ice and mountains and snow and plants and monkeys.
I think it's either Ice Mountains/Caps or Desert but I forget which.
6 coumpound examples are air, water, earth, wind, ice, and mountains.
they live in a very cold and frosty climate
first it rains then the rain gets inside the cracks of rocks and mountains and then it freezes and expands and then maybe some of that rock or mountain breaks of calling it ice wedging =}
no its not
People in these areas have adapted by changing diet, clothing, and in shelter. Many thrive in these inhospitable areas.
ice wedging
Ice caps and mountains are not considered biomes because they are part of the biomes. For example the mountains are high up so they are cold which means that it's biome would be grassland or tundra, depending on where it is located. Ice caps are located in other physical features like mountains, oceans, glaciers, etc. so its biome would be tundra. So basically overall biomes just describe the climate or environment of a place and mountains and ice caps are actual places therefore they cannot be biomes.
Penguins, polar bears, sea lions, etc.
There are mountains under the ice.
