There's the occasional story of an individual escape from a collection, e.g. a zoo, but there's more environmental impact when a breeding population is established. Mink escaped (or were set free) from British fur farms and, being vicious predators, have had a devastating effect on wildlife in parts of the country. Another example is the killer shrimp, which escaped the Danube when canals were built.
The fifth trophic level consists of apex predators. This is the highest level of the food chain. Apex predators have no natural predators. Some examples of apex predators are tigers, grizzly bears, and cheetahs.
Snow leopards and yellow necked marten.
sharks, barracudas, carp, any fish that eats other fish.
Natural predators are those that prey on a horse in the wild. Some examples are: coyotes, mountain lions, bears, dogs, even occasionally humans.
There are many examples of predators and prey in the swamp. One example is alligators and the fish that they eat.

Mimicry is the similarity of one species to another that can protect one or both of them from predators. Some examples of mimicry are bugs that camouflage themselves to look like leaves or bugs that look like sticks.
Some examples of cooperation between species are: animals alerting each other of predators, animals eating insects off of others. Some examples of competition are: fighting for living space and resources, fighting for a mate.
Sharks! Really Big Squids! People what live on boats and eat fishes! Fishes what eat other fishes too!
The fifth trophic level of the food chain are Apex predators. This means they are at the top of the food chain and have no predators. Two examples of Apex predators are humans and grizzly bears.
Some animals, such as poison dart frogs or the cane toad, are protected against predators because they are deadly poisonous if eaten. Some animals prefer spines or shells, making them unattackable, such as porcupines and turtles. The majority of animals try to protect themselves from predators by simply outrunning their predators, or a few are big and formidable enough they can sometimes fight off predators. Examples of herbivores that would fight off a predator include Cape buffalo and hippopotamus.
Predators of the Monito del Monte are commonly birds and mammals, both native and introduced. Some examples are eagles, barn owls, South American Gray foxes, Darwin's foxes and small domestic cats.
