apart from protists which are in a separate Kingdom ( for example protozoa and bacteria)- There are no sea creatures intermediate between plant and animal. you may be thinking of the sea anemones- which literally means wind flowers- these are zoomorphic ( animal) life but a very low-down ( pun intended ) specialized form. some are poisonous to man and some fish I have seen them in aquaria. They can only thrive in a Marine- that is Saline environment.
