What are some famous animation studios?

There are several animation studios available but only a small group have actually become famous. Industrial Light & Magic, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Nippon Animation, and Nickelodeon Animation Studios are just a few studios that have become famous.

A Look At The Major Animation Studios

With the exception of CGI (because of Mono The Monkey 3), today's remaining studios compete for the best animated family-friendly entertainment.

Actors 3D:

The BIG one. This studio is considered by many to be the best (if finest) animation company of all time, thanks to successful franchises like Marco and Josh Samuel. Yes, I know, they had 3 flops...but that won't stop Actors 3D from making good-quality films.

Illusion:

A brave competitor to Actors 3D, Illusion is a poor man's A3D. Illusion is willing to provide the best entertainment by taking risks, no matter if some of their films are bad. They made success stories such as the Ninja Turtles movies and the first 2 Cowboy Sams, but they also made a few mediocre films like Autos 2, Cowboy Sam 3....and the downright awful Dorm. Still, Illusion never gives up.

Ankora:

The worst major animation studio to this day. I'm not saying this studio is SO bad, but it isn't SO good, either. However, there are great films like LEGO and Jengaman, good-but-not-great films like The Domino Effect films and Spacebros, and movies that were downright cancer at worst...yes, especially The Fuzzi Movie! Yes, that's right, the most cynical, cash grabbing piece of cinematic trash the world has ever seen.

Palenton:

The animation studio for the Latinos is getting better, thanks to Dingo. They make good films like (yes, Dingo), Rivals, and Gansito. Their "bad" movies are okay but mediocre, like El Hijo Del Charro 3.

This studio, however, doesn't do well with box office, but that won't affect Palenton Films in a negative way.

Toyic:

This is definitely a great studio. They made over-the-top box office smash-hit films like Josh Samuel and The Toyics. Maybe it's because of its relationship with Actors 3D, and they're good together. Yes, they have one bad apple (Megablox), but that's not enough to say this company is garbage.

Nintendo:

It's not a great animation studio, but at least it's better than Ankora, right? Ranging from good films (Mario vs. Sonic, anyone?) to mediocre movies (Yoshi and Pikachu), Nintendo improves on every level (well, sometimes they don't, but at least they try).

Viacom:

The youngest animation studio, Viacom stays loyal to its budget. Most of their films are good; especially Toy Party (my personal favorite) and Paperboy, a movie so surreal, that it's actually amazing. What Viacom lacks is in helping other studios like Toyic Pictures (Megablox was a failure).

Imageworks:

The oldest CGI company ever assembled. Imageworks started way back then on 1992 and started making history on 1994; but then something terrible happened...it died on 2011 (it's all CGI's fault).

Something unexpected happened on 2019...Imageworks is BACK?

Yep, it's back. Thanks to the massive success of Uncle Scrooge, Imageworks learned its past mistakes and took itself to a whole new level. So far, Imageworks is doing okay, but not as good as Actors 3D (or almost). I hope that their new movie "Mr. Indifferent" would make this studio as good as Actors 3D.
